This page explains how to request deletion of your ParaTracker account and its associated data and what is deleted versus retained.
How to delete your account on Android and iOS app
- Open the ParaTracker app and sign in.
- Open the menu and tap your name at the top.
- On the Account screen, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What gets deleted immediately
- Your profile, including your name, email address, and sign-in credentials
- Contacts you saved
- Your mission invitations and assignments, whether you took part in a mission or invited someone else to one
What's retained, and until when
Missions you created remain visible to the other operators assigned to them, but are no longer linked to your deleted account.
Location track data (GPS logs) recorded during a mission is retained until that specific mission is terminated by its creator or by one of its assigned controllers — terminating a mission permanently deletes its location logs. Deleting your account does not by itself terminate any mission you created, so that mission's location data will continue to exist until the mission is terminated by its creator or a controller.
